Commercial Plumbers in Queensland

These plumbers say they take on commercial, industrial, strata or body corporate work, from shops and offices to apartment complexes managed by a body corporate.

Commercial jobs carry extra paperwork. Plumbing on a new building, or work on existing commercial premises involving sanitary drainage or trade waste, generally needs council approval before it starts. Testable backflow prevention devices, common on commercial sites, must be tested every year in Brisbane by an endorsed tester and registered with Council, and other councils run their own programs.

Ask for examples of similar sites the business has worked on, who handles council approvals, and whether it can test and certify backflow devices or needs another contractor for that.
